SPOKANE, Wash. -- Thunderstorms and showers continued into Thursday morning in the Inland Northwest.
The possibility of storms was expected throughout the day.
Meanwhile, Avista crews were out early Thursday morning to restore power to thousands of homes. Around 3,000 homes were without power but utility crews reduced that number to 800 later on in the morning. The outages were mostly reported in Colfax and Spokane Valley. Around 80 homes on Spokane’s South Hill were without power, along with some residences in Davenport.
Avista estimated the power would be restored for those homes between 6-8 a.m.
