Multiple cars and a home in Granite Falls were damaged Tuesday night when a stolen motor home crashed after a pursuit that started in Everett.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says the incident began at about 5:30 p.m. after reports that a stolen motor home was seen in the South Everett area.
Everett Police located and followed the vehicle. The motor home driver made his way to SR 9, where Washington State Patrol troopers and deputies from the Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop him.
The driver continued northbound to SR 92 and towards Granite Falls, and allegedly swerved at WSP, Sheriff’s Office and other vehicles along the way.
The driver is believed to have lost control of the motor home, left the roadway and collided with a house and several vehicles off of the Mountain Loop Hwy between Quarry and Gun Club Rds.
An man in one of the vehicles was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was found in a home and taken into custody around 6:40 p.m.
The Mountain Loop Hwy was closed at Gun Club Rd for the investigation.
