A school bus slid into a ditch in Sammamish Monday morning leaving one elementary school student with a sprained wrist.
It happened around 7 a.m. near SE 24th Way and 200th Avenue SE.
The King County Sheriff’s Office said the bus was going up a hill when another vehicle was coming down. The bus driver gave the approaching vehicle too much room and slid into the ditch.
The 17 children on board – a mix of elementary, middle and high school students – were on board. The injured student was treated at the scene released to the parents.
