BOISE -- A Boeing 737 made an emergency landing in Boise Thursday night after the pilot reportedly had a heart attack and died.
The plane landed at the Boise Airport around 8 pm, according to Patti Miller, Boise Airport spokeswoman.
All 161 passengers were taken off the plane. Paramedics boarded the flight and removed the pilot from the Boeing 737 who was then taken to an area hospital, where he passed away.
Passengers eventually made it to Seattle after a pilot was flown in from San Francisco to continue the flight.
Once it landed at Sea-Tac, passengers told our sister station crew members informed them they were diverted to Boise because the pilot had a heart attack.
