The southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Grand Mound, Wash., have re-opened after being closed for hours by a truck accident.
The accident happened just after 11 a.m. near the Great Wolf Lodge in Thurston County. State troopers say the truck drove onto the shoulder, then the driver overcorrected and lost control. That caused the truck to tip over and spill several telephone poles onto the freeway.
Crews moved the truck and logs, and one lane was reopened a few hours later. Passenger cars going southbound were being diverted off to exit 88, while commercial vehicles, RVs and vehicles with trailers were allowed to go through.
The accident sent two people to the hospital with minor injuries.
