BOISE -- Idaho Lottery officials announced that one Powerball ticket sold for last night's draw is worth $1 million.

Lottery spokesman David Workman says the ticket was purchased at a retail location in Canyon County. Powerball players are advised to check their tickets.

The winning numbers for Wednesday's draw were 36, 44, 49, 52, 57 and the Powerball was 1. The winning ticket matched all five of the first numbers but not the Powerball.

This ticket is the sixth million dollar winning Powerball ticket sold in Idaho since July, 1, 2013.

"Per capita, Idaho is currently the luckiest jurisdiction in the United States for wins over $500,000 on multi-state draw games.  That puts us at the top of the podium," said Idaho Lottery Director Jeff Anderson. "We are encouraging everyone who played Powerball for last night´s draw to check their tickets carefully. Too often we see players not match the Powerball and think they do not have a winning ticket. In this case, the ticket matched all five of the first numbers and is worth $1 million."

Including the million dollar winning ticket, there were 6,983 winning Powerball tickets in Idaho from last night´s draw. With no jackpot winner, the estimated jackpot for Saturday night is now $330 million.

Last night´s million dollar winner has 180 days to claim their prize at Idaho Lottery headquarters in Boise.
