A man was shot to death at a SeaTac motel Friday and police are looking for four suspects who sped away from the scene.
The shooting happened inside a room at the Motel 6, located at 20651 Military Road, around 3:00 a.m.
Two black males and two black females are believed to have left the motel in a black BMV vehicle, King County Sheriff's deputies said.
Deputies do not know whether the victim was a guest at the motel or visiting. He has not been identified.
Going door-to-door early in the morning, deputies asked guests at the motel what they may have seen or heard.
Witnesses told deputies the victim drove to the motel in a white SUV, went upstairs and tried to get into a room using a key. When he was unable to get in, he knocked and was let inside.
Deputies said guests in nearby rooms heard an argument and then a gunshot. One witness told police they saw the victim leave the room, stumble and then collapse from his injuries outside the motel.
A short time later, deputies said the four suspects fled in the BMW while covering their faces with t-shirts.
"It's crazy," said motel guest James Crosby, "I've stayed in motels virtually all over this country and this is the closest I've ever been to anything like this."
