BOISE -- The Owyhee County Sheriff is asking for the public's help in locating a 66-year-old man who has been missing for nearly a week.

Authorities say Ted Thomason was last seen on March 9 in his hometown of Grand View.

Thomason was believed to be driving to Mountain Home in a white 1996 Ford pickup with Idaho license plate 203753T.  He was traveling with his dog, a blue heeler hound.

Thomason may be suffering from dementia and may appear confused.

He is described as a white male, 66, balding, 5-foot-6, with blue eyes and weighing around 225 pounds.

Anyone who has seen Thomason or has information about his whereabouts is urged to call the Owyhee County Sheriff at 208-495-1154.
