Micro earthquake near Glacier in Whatcom Co.

SEATTLE - A small earthquake shook the area around Glacier in Whatcom County on Monday morning.

A preliminary report from the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network says the quake at 11:54 a.m. had a magnitude of 2.3 and occurred about two miles west-southwest of Glacier.

The depth was 0.2 miles.
