"Memphis Belle" to fly over Northwest cities this month

AP - A restored World War II B-17 "Flying Fortress" will be in the skies over the Northest this month. First stop is Seattle.

The plane known as "Memphis Belle" is on display at the Renton Municipal Airport next weekend.

A group called The Liberty Foundation is touring with the plane and a P-51 Mustang fighter.

The Liberty Foundation considers itself a flying museum and sells flights on the historic planes to pay its expenses.

Seattle flights will take place May 10th-11th

Spokane flights will take place May 17th-18th

Boise flights will take place May 24th-25th
