Former KOMO TV reporter and radio host Ken Schram passed away. He was 66.

He had been in hospice care in Kirkland.

Schram spent his 35-year career at KOMO TV and radio, as a reporter and host of the public affairs show "Town Meeting." He also produced “Schram on the Street” segments.

He hosted "The Commentators" show on KOMO radio with conservative John Carlson. When that show came to an end in September, 2010, Schram and Carlson each began hosting separate weekday shows on the same station.

On his KVI show on Wednesday, Carlson asked people to pray for a miracle for his former co-host.

Schram regularly awarded his "Schrammie” for what he called "the worst of bone-headed decision(s), and/or the most appalling of asinine behavior."
