SPOKANE - Five Rogers High School students were on their way to school when a Bronco t-boned them at a North Spokane intersection, sending four of the students to the hospital.
The call came into emergency crews around 7:45 a.m. that there was a collision at Crestline and Wabash.
When police and firefighters arrived they found that either the driver in the westbound car full of kids either blew a stop sign or didn't see the northbound Bronco coming when the Bronco t-boned the car. Police said the driver of the car was at fault.
The female driver of the car suffered the worst injuries and is in serious condition. Three other students were taken to the hospital, including two with injuries described as "major, but not life-threatening." The fifth student was not hurt.
The driver of the Bronco sustained only minor injuries to one of her hands.
