Hundreds of Seattle Pacific students, staff members and members of the community came together at a prayer service at First Free Methodist on Friday at noon.

The university campus was rocked by a shooting Thursday that left one student dead, and two others injured and hospitalized.

A student building monitor, Jon Meis, subdued the shooting suspect, Aaron Ybarra, with pepper spray as he attempted to reload his shotgun. Other students then helped hold down the suspect until police arrived.
