NAMPA --  A child has died and several more are injured after a dump truck crashed into a school bus near Deer Flat and Happy Valley roads south of Nampa.

The crash was reported just before 8 a.m.

We're told two injured children were taken to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, and two more were taken to Saint Alphonsus in Nampa.

Officials at the Kuna School District have confirmed that the bus was headed to Crimson Point Elementary.
