NAMPA --  A dump truck has rear-ended a school bus near Deer Flat and Happy Valley roads in Nampa, causing multiple injuries.

The crash was reported just before 8 a.m.

Officials at the Kuna School District have confirmed that the bus was headed to Crimson Point Elementary.

Jenny Anderson, communications coordinator for the Kuna District, said the bus involved was bus number 11.

Sergeant Tim Randall with the Nampa Police Department says the crash caused multiple injuries to those involved, including students.
