SEATTLE - The weather may not have cooperated, but organizers say this year's Bumbershoot is looking like a big success.

Final numbers aren't in, but many retailers say they've been raking in sales.

For the first time the main stage also sold out before the festival began, thanks to Bob Dylan and Seattle's popularity with tourists.

"Seattle is one of the top destinations for Labor Day travel and a lot of that has to do with Bumbershoot," said Mikhael Williams of One Reel. "We are definitely up from last year, which is a real refreshing thing."

The late summer arts festival is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
