An elderly man with alzheimer’s and dementia has gone missing from his Tacoma home.

The daughter of 85-year-old John Henry Kerr realized he was missing Friday morning from their home near 86th Street and C Street E. in Tacoma. His car was also gone.

Kerr has not driven a car for three years. He uses a hearing aid and eyeglasses, but both of those were left at the home. He does not have a cell phone or credit cards and may have less than $20 on him.

Kerr is white, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 170 pounds with shaved hair, hazel eyes and a gray mustache. He may be driving a dark purple 2007 Hyundai Elantra with Washington license plate 678-ZOU. The car also has dark tinted windows.

Anyone who sees him should call police.
