A house fire on Puyallup's South Hill displaced three families Wednesday.

Central Pierce Fire and Rescue workers fought the fire. All the residents made it safely out of the house.

Firefighters rescued four birds and one turtle from the house.

The Red Cross will help the displaced families.

The fire occurred at 94th and 113th Street East. Traffic in the area was impacted.

No word on the cause of the fire.
