PORTLAND -- A warm, sunny Monday kicks off the workweek in the Portland metro area, with a high temperature in the 70s, KGW Meteorologist Nick Allard said.

"In fact, it should be the warmest day of the year today in Portland with temps hitting around 73 degrees," he said.

The next few days won't be quite as warm, but should stay mostly dry in the metro area, aside from light rain Tuesday night.

"The rest of the week looks pretty consistent with partly to mostly sunny skies in the 60s," Allard said.
