SPOKANE, Wash-- The City of Spokane declared a Stage One snow event around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. City crews asked citizens to move their cars to the odd side of the road on residential hills.
Monday morning, city leaders sent out 55 pieces of equipment and crews worked through the night. Crews are focusing on arterials and residential hills.
24 plows will be working on arterials and 22 grader/truck plow teams will work on hills.
City leaders said five sanders and four deicers were also sent out Monday morning.
The winter weather advisory expires at noon. Monday for the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene areas.
