SPOKANE, Wash.—A 40-year-old man is accused of stealing large amounts of cat food from SpokAnimal. On Tuesday, police recovered dozens of bags of cat food that were stolen from SpokAnimal on January 17.
Police said the suspect, William Sorenson, was cooperative with police.
Officers received a tip that a suspect had stolen numerous bags of dog and cat food from SpokAnimal. Police were able to contact the suspect in a camper near N. Crestline Street and E. Springfield Avenue. Officers recovered 25, 16-pound bags of Purina cat food and over 100 cans of canned food.
The suspect entered a storage shed next to SpokAnimal and stole the food according to police.
