Get ready for a wet and windy Saturday around Puget Sound, including at the NFC playoff game between the Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints. That and rising snow levels could mean some minor flooding, too.
KING 5 Meteorologist Lisa Van Cise says rain will pick up around mid-afternoon on Friday and winds will pick up late Friday or early Saturday and stick around most of the day.
Gusts could reach 30-to-40 mph during the game, which happens between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. It will taper off after the game is over.
There is also a very slight chance of a thunderstorm.
In the mountains, expect snow levels to rise to about 5,000 feet later Friday, but then drop back down to 2,500 feet late Saturday.
Van Cise says snow totals in the Cascades Saturday could be 10-inches to 2-feet above 3,000 feet, which higher elevations receiving more.
