SEASIDE, Ore. – A couple was arrested after they allegedly tipped a Seaside waitress with an envelope full of meth, the Daily Astorian reports.
After Ryan Bensen, 40, of Beaverton and Erica Manley, 37, of Cascade Locks allegedly paid for their drinks at the Twisted Fish in Seaside, they tipped their waitress with an envelope filled with a crystal-like substance.
The waitress called Seaside police after receiving the tip and police identified the substance as methamphetamine.
Police also found a large amount of meth in Manley’s purse, along with more meth and other items used for making the drug in the couple’s motel room and vehicle.
Bensen was arrested for possession and manufacture of methamphetamine. Manley was arrested for possessing, manufacturing and delivering meth.
The couple was taken to the Clatsop County Jail.
