COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho -- Local creative company Seven2 brought Santa to kids he might have otherwise missed this year.

The company launched an online poll with three options for the merriest way the Seven2 staff could surprise people this Christmas. The plan to spice up the holiday for community members was dubbed “GiveStarter.”
The third option - to surprise struggling families with a secret winter wonderland where they could pick from a sea of gifts for their kids - won by a landslide.
So Santa and the elves at Seven2 digital agency transformed the basement at Children's Village in Coeur d’Alene.
"We have kiddos in house right now who have been living in a tent in the woods, and we have kids in house right now who have been living with three siblings and two parents in a car," said one worker at Children's Village.
Every child at the facility was on Santa’s good list this year.
"The reindeer and Rudolph are down the street, but I was able to bring some presents a little early this year," Santa said as the gift-giving began.
And there were lots of presents.
