PORTLAND -- Kyron Horman's stepmother wants the Multnomah County District Attorney's office to stay out of her divorce case.

In a recent court filing obtained by KGW, an attorney for Terri Horman said the prosecutors should not intervene.

Details: Read court documents

The DA's office had filed a motion to prevent Terri's lawyers from questioning a lead investigator. Prosecutors argued that sheriff's investigator Bobby O'Donnell should not be deposed because it might jeopardize the ongoing criminal investigation.

Kyron Horman disappeared on June 4, 2010. The second grader from Skyline School has never been found.

Terri and her estranged husband, Kaine Horman are in the middle of divorce proceedings. Terri's lawyers said the DA's office has no legal standing to intervene in the divorce case and should not be heard.

Kaine has also recently demanded that Terri turn over various records including correspondence, letters or online posts surrounding his son Kyron's disappearance.
