PORTLAND – Rainfall that starts Friday around noon will continue through the weekend, a series of two storms that will drench Portland and the Willamette Valley with two to four inches.
The Coast Range could see five to six inches of rain, said KGW meteorologist Nick Allard. Up to 10 inches of rain could fall in the Cascades, he said. None of the pass moisture will be snow, he said.
Allard said low rivers will probably prevent flooding though gusty winds could drop leaves that clog storm drains.
