Seattle police officers shot a man on Monday morning who fired on a Metro bus driver just before 9 a.m. in downtown Seattle.
The incident happened near Benaroya Hall at 3rd Ave and Union St.
The suspect is being taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The 67-year-old bus driver was shot multiple times by the suspect. His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, the @SeattlePD Twitter account reported.
A 32-year-old Seattle Police Department officer also sustained minor injuries during the incident, possibly from flying glass. The officer is being treated at the scene.
