Who needs abstract art when you can buy a rocket instead?
Billionaire Paul Allen pocketed more than $43 million selling a painting earlier this week, and now we know what he did with some of the money.
According to Geekwire, the eclectic billionaire bought a V-2 rocket.
It’s the first man made object to fly into space and was developed by the Nazis in the late stages of World War II. The rocket was lobbed into England, most often missing its target and instead causing heavy civilian casualties.
The rocket will arrive at Paine Field Monday and be added to Allen's Flying Heritage Collection.
