LONGVIEW, Wash. -- A man carrying a handgun and wearing a mask robbed a Longview restaurant and police released surveillance photos to help find the suspect.

Police were called just before 6 a.m. March 31 to a robbery in the Muchas Gracias Restaurant, at 1006 Washington Way, according to Longview police.

The suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and wearing a mask similar to the one featured in the "Scream" horror movie franchise. He was also wearing a dark Nike sweatshirt and green latex gloves, police said.

He was in his 30s or early 40’s, just over 6 feet tall, with a mustache and possibly a goatee, a witness told investigators. The suspect also appeared to be wearing glasses.

Police believe the same man robbed a coffee shop in Vancouver, Washington, two hours after the Longview robbery.

Anyone with information was asked to call the Longview Police Department.
