2 more arrests made in stolen silver bars case

NAMPA, Idaho -- Canyon County authorities have made two more arrests in connection with the theft of dozens of silver bars from a dead man’s home in Melba.  Six people have now been charged.

Joseph Dodge, 23, and Justin Thomas, 20, both of Nampa, were arrested Thursday for their involvement in the sale of some stolen silver bars.  So far, Caldwell Police detectives have recovered 14 of the 42 stolen 100 oz. silver bars. 

The thefts occurred on Feb. 13, 2010.  The man died in January. 

Robert “Quinn” Wolfley, who was wanted for burglary and grand theft, was taken into custody on March 2 in Nampa.  Jordan Lopez was also arrested and charged with harboring a felon.

Robert Wolfley: Burglary / Grand Theft
Steven Dodge:  Burglary / Grand Theft / Manufacturing a Controlled Substance / Possession of a Controlled Substance/ Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Joseph Dodge: Grand Theft / Accessory to a Felony
Donya Mechan: Burglary/Grand Theft / Probation Violation / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Justin Thomas: Grand Theft by Possession
Jordan Lopez:  Harboring a Felon

All of the suspects have been booked into the Canyon County Jail. 

Canyon County Sheriff and Caldwell Police Department detectives continue to investigate this case and say additional arrests may be made in the near future.
