PORTLAND -- Snow greeted most residents of the Portland area and the Willamette Valley Tuesday morning.
KGW meteorologist Nick Allard said to expect a rain and snow mix throughout the morning at lower elevations but no accumulation. Above 500 feet, a trace or up to three inches could stick.
A Winter Weather Advisory remained in effect through the Tuesday commute, with snow possible down to the valley floor and accumulations of 1-3 inches possible above 500 feet.
