An Amber alert was issued early Wednesday morning after a mentally impaired 16-year-old girl disappeared from a bowling alley in Tacoma.
Sixteen-year-old Briana Troyer was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Tower Bowling Lanes with Terrence D. Powell, a 21-year-old registered sex offender.
According to police, Troyer is a special education student with the mental age of a 9 year old. She is described as 5'2" in height and 105 pounds with brown hair. She was wearing a blue Wilson bowling shirt, gray hooded sweatshirt with Wilson on the front and blue jeans with blue converse tennis shoes.
Tacoma police confirm Troyer is the daughter of a Pierce County Sheriff's detective who is assisting with the search efforts.
Powell is an African American, 5'9" in height and 220 pounds with dyed blond hair. He was wearing all black clothing with a white "do-rag." Powell is a level 1 sex offender.
