Drivers will want to leave a little early from work Tuesday in anticipation of some major traffic jams around Seattle.

Three events (all beginning with M, coincidentally) are sure to cause gridlock on just about every major road in and out of the city.

The three M's of tonight's traffic are:

--Michelle Obama: The First Lady will speak at the Westin Hotel at 5th Avenue and Westlake in at 6:25 p.m. Tickets to the campaign event range from $500 to $10,000. Expect rolling freeway closures as her motorcade travels through, as well as road closures in downtown Seattle around the Westin.

--Mariners: Tonight's 7:05 p.m. game at Safeco Field is the second in a three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels. Congestion will be heaviest around the Alaskan Way Viaduct, 1st and 4th Avenue South and I-90 to Edgar Martinez Way.

--Madonna: The Material Girl plays Key Arena Tuesday AND Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. Expect slowing on I-5 with heavy congestion around the Mercer ramps.

Stay ahead of tonight's slow downs by getting the Seattle Traffic App. Plan your route ahead of time and even get alerts sent to your phone. Download the app for iPhone, Droid, Blackberry, or Windows.
