A memorial service will be held Friday morning for a park ranger killed while trying to rescue a group of climbers on Mount Rainier last week.
Ranger Nick Hall, 33, fell nearly 4,000 feet from Emmons Glacier.
A combination of bad weather and avalanche danger has prevented recovery rangers from reaching his body.
The 10 a.m. service at Jackson Visitor Center at Paradise is not open to the public, but can be seen live on NorthWest Cable News, KING5.com and NWCN.com.
