PORTLAND -- A Portland man has come forward to claim a $4.2 million jackpot from the June 18 Megabucks drawing.
The Oregon Lottery said Thursday that Scott Schmitz bought a $5 Quick Pick ticket at Marie's in Portland, and the winning numbers were 4-9-11-19-23-39.
Schmitz chose the annuity payment plan for his prize. He will receive 25 annual payments of $168,000 before state and federal taxes are withheld.
Marie's will get a $42,000 retail bonus for selling the winning ticket.
A winning ticket for a $1.4 million was sold in Lebanon just three drawings after Schmitz hit the jackpot. That winner has yet to claim the prize.
