Increasing Clouds West, Sunny East

As disturbances spin into western Washington from the coast, we'll see an increase in clouds and the chance for some evening showers.

The better chance for showers comes late tonight and into tomorrow morning. Overall, expect any precipitation to be very light and scattered. The best chance for those showers is out along the Washington coast, into the northwest interior, and in the north Cascades. Portions of northwest Oregon could also pick up a few showers tomorrow morning.

Areas east will escape the showers. The only real change coming to eastern Washington and Oregon will be a drop in temperature. Expect some breezy spots in the Columbia River Gorge, Yakima and Kittitas Valleys, and the Columbia Basin.

Between the disturbances, you're likely to see some sunbreaks. So the weekend isn't a total wash by any means.

Most spots will see a break on Monday from the cloud cover, but come Tuesday and Wednesday, a stronger system moves in. This will bring an increase in the chance to see more widespread showers.

Enjoy the weekend!
