MARYSVILLE, Wash. - Marysville police say the woman wanted in a dog-napping case has turned herself in.
In September, a woman stole a husky from a family's backyard. Surveillance video captured the heist.
Surveillance footage showed a woman pulling the dog, Takoda, out of Ron and Colleen Smith's yard and pushing her into a mini-van which sped off. On the video, Takoda can be heard howling as she’s forced to cross the electric fence line that kept her in the yard.
The dog was later returned to its owners.
The woman now faces theft, criminal trespassing and animal cruelty charges.
