College students at Pacific Lutheran University are in the middle of it - finals week. The stress can be overwhelming.  But there is some wiggly relief wagging their tails in the middle of campus.

Therapy dogs from the organization, Therapy Dog International, are there for the petting.  Students were crowding around the gentle dogs today for their chance to pet, scratch and get kisses from the dogs named Fozzie Bear and Malina.

The Associated Students of PLU organized the event.  Group member Emma Southard said dogs are proven stress busters. That research is back up by the packs of giggling students converging on the dogs between finals.
