An eagle is flying high again, thanks to a few months of tender loving care.
The Sarvey Wildlife Care Center released a bald eagle in Burien Saturday morning.
The wildlife center worked since December to help the bird regain endurance after determining the eagle had an injury that healed improperly.
"You know, I've been doing this for 30 years and it doesn’t get old. It really doesn't. I mean each bird is like each person. It's an individual and you root for it,” said Kestrel SkyHawk
The Sarvey Wildlife Center estimates it takes in more than 4,000 patients each year.
