LAKE FOREST PARK, Wash. -- Hundreds of blackberry-chomping goats cleared a hillside in Horizon View Park on Sunday.
Retired marketing executive Jack Tonkin brought "Goat Days" to Lake Forest Park as a way to recruit volunteers to help with projects in city parks and forested areas.
The money raised from a variety of Goat Days events and the sale of items will be turned over to the Lake Forest Park Stewardship Foundation. They will give it out to the City as grants on a project-by-project basis.
Goat Days was part of Lake Forest Park's 50th birthday party.
