When thinking about the sport of curling places like Minnesota, North Dakota and even Canada come to mind, but Seattle is home to the top curling duo in U.S. curling history that has won 13 national championships between them.

Brady and Cristin Clark have won the national mixed championship nine out of the last 10 years and are headed to Erzurum, Turkey, in mid April for the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, where two curlers compete instead of four.

"We're pretty excited to go there and we're planning to bring back gold," said Brady Clark, U.S. Mixed National Champion.

Sean Beighton and Bev Walter are the other half of this team that recently won the U.S. Mixed National Championship.

The Granite Curling Club in Seattle is the only dedicated curling club on the west coast and is home to recreational curlers as well as champions.

"It's a great sport, a lot of fun. You can play it with your family and even your wife," said Clark.
