'Tis the season for wrapping all those presents you'll put under the tree. So how would you like to kiss all those tubes of wrapping paper goodbye?

Lynn Colwell with Celebrate Green dropped by our studios to show us how to do that. She has ideas for wrapping a gift within a gift.

For example, you can use a men's dress shirt to wrap a present for the man in your life. Who knew! And a baby blanket snuggles a gift for an infant so nicely. She also has great suggestions for using napkins, scarves, or other fabric you may have lying around the house. And I love how they wrap a wine bottle! No more brown bags.

Check out our video clip to see Lynn teaching me how to work magic with a scarf. And for more green ideas for this holiday season check out celebrategreen.net.

You can watch Northwest Families on Wednesday at 2 p.m. and Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. on Northwest Cable News.
