Have you ever dreamed of throwing tomatoes at the La Tomatina in Spain? Well now you can do that right in here in Seattle in a giant food fight! The first annual "Tomato Battle" is happening Saturday, September 24 at Pyramid Alehouse and Restaurant.

Organizers are expecting nearly 3,000 tomato throwers to show up for battle. A portion of the proceeds raised will go to benefit the White Center Food Bank and Tilted Thunder Rail Birds Roller Derby Team.

"The tomato battle is the most fun you can legally have. We will have a huge tomato fight, get super messy and you won't get in trouble," said Max Kraner, co-founder of Tomato Battle.
