Fremont Oktoberfest kicks off at 5 p.m. Friday night and runs through Sunday evening. The German festival will feature traditional beer and food, costumes, chainsaw pumpkin carving and lots of activities for the family including Dogtoberfest on Sunday and a 5K run.
