SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Salvation Army is serving up free Thanksgiving dinner for the community on Wednesday evening.
“A lot of these individuals that come to our dinners are repeats, we get to know them, we know their names,” said communications and marketing director, Jeff Wright. “We really get to fill a need for them, as well as a need for us. We get to build a relationship with them.”
Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. and doors will open 30 minutes prior. Salvation Army staff said all are welcome to join.
“We have individuals, couples, families all from various economic backgrounds,” said Wright.
