Art studios auction for Boise Bicycle Project

Art auction benefits Boise Bicycle Project

Local art studios are auctioning off some of their works to benefit the Boise Bicycle Project.
Boise Art Glass and Fire Fusion studios held a live art auction Friday night to raise money for the non-profit, which repairs and refurbishes used bicycles for children and adults in need.
The live auction event featured live glass blowing. Items were auctioned off as they were made.
The owner of Boise Art Glass says the community has been so supportive of his business, he wanted to give back.
"The community has really supported my studio and allowed us to get to the point where we are now, so twice a year, I'd like to do an event like this," said Filip Vogelpohl, owner of Boise Art Glass. "I'm going to pick a charity and donate 100 percent of what we make."
You can help out and get some cool glasswork at the same time.
The auction continues all week at Boise Art Glass, located at 1124 West Front Street.
