This week we visit Fancy Fronds Nursery in Gold Bar, a specialty nursery that has the largest collection of temperate ferns in North America. This year's Fronderosa Frolic is Aug. 11 and 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Their address is 40830 172 St. SE Gold Bar, Wash. Phone (360) 793-1472 The web site is www.fancyfronds.com. Our plant of the week was Phygelius, also known as Cape Fuchsia. The big bushy variety Ciscoe had was 'Yellow Trumpet'. There are varieties with flower colors raning from orange to, well, fuchsia as well. Get them at McLendon Hardware, 1-877-505-1502 www.mclendons.com
