From the outset of this unfortunate matter, ING Financial Partners, Inc. (IFP) has been focused on clients potentially impacted by allegations involving Rhonda Breard and her separately owned and operated business, Breard & Associates Wealth Management.
IFP’s efforts have been directed at interviewing clients, investigating and documenting funds in clients’ accounts, cooperating fully with authorities, and moving toward a resolution for impacted clients.
Therefore, IFP is disappointed that a law firm has filed a lawsuit at this early juncture, well before the conclusion of all ongoing investigations. IFP is currently reviewing the lawsuit. However, IFP intends to defend itself against the claims made and file an appropriate response.
Upon discovering certain issues with respect to her handling of client funds, IFP immediately terminated Ms. Breard's FINRA registration and state securities licenses. IFP also immediately notified appropriate federal and state authorities and regulators, and continues to cooperate fully with those authorities.
IFP has proactively communicated with its clients and organized a dedicated team of service professionals to answer their questions and address their concerns. IFP is committed to providing the best possible service to its clients as this investigation continues.
