BEAVERTON -- School district officials confirmed Tuesday morning, reports of a student who had created an unspecified 'hit list' of children at Bethany Elementary School.
Parents of students on the list have been notified, said Beaverton School District spokeswoman Maureen Wheeler.
The list was hand-written on red paper and included the names of several students in upper grades of the K through 5 school, she said.
The student who created the list has been suspended, she said, and won't be allowed back until there is a risk evaluation.
The investigation was handled internally by the school but the district has informed the Washington County sheriff's office of what's happened, she said.
