You asked for it, you got it: Chick-fil-A #BroughtBackTheBBQ

The Chick-fil-A fans have cried out and their protests have been heard.

That’s right, they #BroughtBackTheBBQ.

After months of complaints from die-hard fans on social media, the beloved original Barbeque Sauce is coming back to Chick-fil-A.

In an email to loyal customers on Tuesday they addressed the change with, “We’re changing #BringBackTheBBQ to #BroughtBackTheBBQ. So spread the good news.”

The chicken empire also announced on their Facebook page in a video.

The ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live! Mean Tweets’ style video shows employees reading off angry tweets aimed at the fast-food chain for changing their barbeque sauce recipe.

Some read as below:

@backwithblack: Hey @ChickfilA: Tell whoever came up with the idea to change your BBQ sauce that they maybe shouldn’t have anymore ideas.

@AlyssaAlinda: If anyone has Chick-fil-A’s old BBQ sauce packets, I’m willing to pay.

@shelbytlscott: If I tweet you everyday for a year like Noah wrote Allie in “The Notebook” for 365 days will you bring back your original BBQ sauce @ChickfilA?

@chadwtootle: @ChickfilaA Why in the ham fat did you change my BBQ sauce? If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. #NoSmokey4Me Jeez

So have no fear, wipe away those tears and get your money ready. The original sauce is back behind counters in November.
